Version 6. Version 5.x is no supported with updates for quite some time already.

To give a short update on the driver build status.
Unfortunately, it does not look good at all at the moment. We cannot get it to work despite our numerous attempts. The drivers crash kernel because of conflict with several pre-installed DSM kernel modules.
The affected platforms are all x86_64 based and armada 38x based.
We are working on the issue and are in touch with Synology, but cannot say at the moment when and if the issue will be resolved.

would the above explain my problems whereby a DS718+ (celeron processor) will not work with PCTV61e and TVMosaic?
is there any progress?

DSM 6.2.1-23824 is now available and there does not seem to have been any movement on the DSM 6.2 driver, or whatever it is that is the problem.

It is now several months since my DVBLink Server last worked with my PCTV461; meanwhile Synology's Video Station continues to work with this device without any problems.

Do you consider that the PCTV 46x driver issue to fall within the realm of "critical updates" and do you intend to fix this problem between now and the end of this year?

TV Mosaic does not interest me. I do not wish to administer an application running on a headless server through a bloated Windows application. Although I have struggled to use DVBlink in the past I was able to get it to a point where it works well for me as an IPTV server.

I agree with you. I do not want to pay for a product, which is a deterioration. I am also not 100% satisfied with DVBLink, but by and large, it works quite stable, except that sporadically every few months the TV stick in the NAS is not recognized.
