Hiya,
I would like to raise a feature request.
One of the former MCE features were very nice and made usage of timeshifting very natural:
- if a record is in progress, the record should be available within the timeshift of the channel (e.g. "James Bond" is recording since 30 mins on BBC; when I switch to the BBC-channel into the "James Bond" movie it should be possible to skip back.)
Yours,

Feature req. : Adding record to timeshift
Re: Feature req. : Adding record to timeshift
Perhaps I don't get it, but this is simply possible by starting to play the recording, right? On one end it is recording and on the other end it is playing.
Re: Feature req. : Adding record to timeshift
No, that's not the same. Static usage of records or live tv.
My intetion is the natural use of records and live tv.
First example:
Record the James Bond movie from 8.30 pm.
Start watching tv at 9.00 pm. and use the time shift back to the beginning of the movie.
Use fast forward whenever you like.
And watch the regular tv program of the channel after the movie has endet. (show after James Bond).
Second example:
Record a tv show and watch it,
Change to anothet channel during advertisements.
Come back to the channel a bit later and rewind to point before.

Re: Feature req. : Adding record to timeshift
Ok, I see… Do you have a need for this often? I would think this very rarely happens….
By the way.... feature requests are not picked up very fast...

Yes. That's how I normally watch TV shows. Every day.Do you have a need for this often?
Watching recorded TV only, and watching live TV only in a separate behaviour is .. more complicated and less comfortable.
Mhm. Unhappily I cannot push improvements.By the way.... feature requests are not picked up very fast...
