Re: New version 17546 - Now missing recordings in Kodi - Rollback to 17217 possible?

You are not the only one, with missing recordings.... Had already sent a PM to Oberon early this afternoon about this issue, with no response unfortunately.... Currently no TVMosaic recordings are imported/shown in: - iOS TVMosaic app - tvOS TVMosaic app - MrMC TVMosaic PVR - Kodi TVMosaic PVR Rever...

I completely understand your posts:

That's why I wanted to know from your TVMosaic logs, what actions those IP's did on your TVMosaic server.

Re: Record and watch a different channel?

My IPTV provider allows 3 simultaneous connections. Can I record one channel while watching another? Did you add your IPTV providers m3u three times as IPTV tuner source in TVMosaic ? This way, TVMosaic knows it has 3 available connections to use, for simultaneous viewing/recording of different cha...

Re: Secure connection over internet?

@Oberon

Abuse traffic from 5.9.102.232 and more IP's, is targeting TVMosaic servers worldwide. When can we expect secure access ?

Results for 5.9.102.232 https://www.shodan.io/host/5.9.102.232 https://censys.io/ipv4/5.9.102.232 Did this IP successfully open a stream, or is it just randomly trying to open a channel ID which don't exist on your server ? And do other users also see this IP in logs when a query is done on "Reporti...

Re: what is a client, what a server?

Maybe a stupid question, but have you read what I wrote? Offcourse, but this below, you didn't wrote  The local server was not running I can't smell from here, that you screwed up your Linux install, when a successful install, should have run TVMosaic server daemon automatically, on system bo...

Re: what is a client, what a server?

Maybe a stupid question, but have you clicked the little triangle next to the IP address shown in the TVMosaic program on your Linux desktop ? In there, you have an option to select a manual IP (your Linux desktop IP) and after that is done, you can setup your TV stick in TVMosaic program on your Li...

Re: having a local and a remote TV stick at the same time?

Use both USB TV sticks at your NAS, to have ONE TVMosaic server, instead of two.

Having two servers while you have the SAME channels on both of them is not practical, especially not for the wife and kids, who will then gonna ask you why the recordings have disappeared :D

Re: what is a client, what a server?

Where is the TV stick, on your NAS or Linux desktop ? The server client confusion on this forum, but also on many other forums, we see many many times from new users. This is all the fault of DVBLogic, not releasing a "client only" version of TVMosaic (like we also had with DVBLink), which many user...

Re: TV Mosaic finds less channels than my TV DVB-C

Although that may work, the preferred option would be to have the solution here on the forum, right? I should not have to tell you that expecting DVBLogic support from forum topics is not the fasted way to get support eventually. You have been here long enough from the days of DVBLink and TVMosaic ...
