No support? Not Happy.
Hi,
I logged a case (62561) 21 days ago and haven't received any support despite updating the ticket multiple times. Can someone bother getting back to me please?
Thanks
Brian

All issues, including yours, are read and processed. However, some issues, and epg related in particular, may take some time to be resolved. It involves interaction wit the epg provider and is not fast.

That's well understood however I've had a single response despite updating the ticket numerous times? Would it have been so hard to reply and provide the answer above?
Re: No support? Not Happy.
still no response on the ticket and the problem still isn't fixed.

Honestly man, at this point I would stop paying them. Especially since you can get EPG for free in most countries.
If you are in the US or Canada, check out https://tvlistings.zap2it.com/ (I am in the US and it is fully covered). You can sign up for a free account and use a tool called zap2xml to download it and convert it to XML that TV Mosaic can use. You can use Windows scheduler to have this happen automatically. All of this for FREE. This is what I have been doing since I have had TV Mosaic and it's been flawless. Just takes a bit of initial setup.
I can provide complete instructions if needed.
If you are in a different country, tvguide.com might work (it also works with the zap2xml tool). If not let me know what country you are in and I'll see what I can find available.

Re: No support? Not Happy.
EPG is not a simple issue. If in UK then TVMosaic does not work off-air as FreeSat uses a different mechanism to send EPG information. There is an xmltv provider (xmltv.co.uk) that can be used, but I have found this service is not so reliable any more (missing channels, bad information). The best solution I found was to use EPG collector which does work for FreeSat and create an XMLTV file that is read into TVMosaic. EPG Collector can be scheduled to run once a day.
EPG has some nice features such as creating delayed channel information if this is not broadcast.

As to support, I have found them to be extremely helpful.
