If I attach 2 tv-butler sticks to my synology NAS, what can I do?
Is it possible to record a movie and in the same time watch any other channel?

Hi,

that is exactly what I do with my TV Butlers. They are attached to a Synology DS218+ NAS via an USB hub. TV cable is "splitted" so that the TV signal gets through to both sticks. Works like a charm.

In case you use a FritzBox 6590 or 6591 Cable as router you automatically have IPTV because the box acts as an IPTV server. This means: together with your TV Butlers you will have 6 (six!) tuners available. The FritzBox provides 4 tuners without the need of extra TV cable.

Have fun!

Best regards

Werner
