Free XMLTV links

Post by tezz » Tue Apr 10, 2018 1:44 pm

for Downunder Australian users, there's an xmltv feed website. freepg.tv You must register to receive a personalised link to the data.
It looks to be run by volunteers and began back with TIVO. Haven't tried it myself, so no guarantees. Might be a help if FTA EPG has issues.

Thanks for sharing this with us. It would be nice if others will share own Free XMLTV links here.

For the Netherlands: http://dikkeveter.nl/mythtv/xmltv/xmltv.latest.gz has daily (after 8:00) the latest complete guide for the next 14 days.

Are you sure that xmltv link that you have added works?
It seems it has been last updated in December 2017.

You're right. I tried to check it with the owner but his mailadres is no longer valid.

Myself I use https://github.com/tvgrabbers/tvgrabpyAPI and have made a .command on the Mac to retrieve info and send that to TVMosaic's XMLTV folder.

I use WebGrabPlus (along with Windows Task Scheduler) for Aus, Canadian and British channels. And then zap2xml for American channels.

Have both running on Windows Task Manager every couple of days
