No Dreambox support?

Post by Amatøren » Mon Mar 26, 2018 9:48 am

Really?

No support for Dreambox, VU+, etc?

Then I can't upgrade. :x

Will it be later?

TVMosaic does not support dreambox as a source. At least, not yet.
It is also questionable at the moment if it comes back considering its low popularity.

To bad......

Actually I have two VU+, one Duo2 (quad tuner) and Solo 2 (dual tuner) and use the DVBLink for Dreambox.

Will it still be possible to by new license for DVBLink for Dreambox version 6 (latest)?

Heres what I did (albeit DLNA isn’t accessible from Pana TV)
>Go to WebIF and download a playlist for some bouquet of your choice, it comes as .m3u file
>Open the .m3u in a text editor and delete any lines that don’t start with a #EXTM3U , #EXTINF or http://
>Make sure the IPs after http:// are numbers rather than ‘something.local’
>Save the file
>Now, either upload the .m3u to an online drive, file-sharing site, a phone or a tablet. The idea is to generate an http link to the .m3u.
>Now go to TVMosaic console, add IPTV source, then click Scan, then click Remote Playlist, then paste the link to the .m3u you’ve generated.
>Channels should be recognized and appear as valid.

Worked for me with an old et5x00 satbox. Channels play sweet across devices , except for DLNA clients (in my case at least).

Or store file on TVMosaic <scanners/iptv> folder- transponder files and iptv playlists

Just curious - is this a fixed link?:
>Go to WebIF and download a playlist for some bouquet of your choice, it comes as .m3u file
I mean, can you put this link directly into IPTV souirce remote playlist field?..
