iOS bug in schedule list
iOS bug in schedule list
I'm not sure which version this bug was introduced in but it is recent (1.5?) - I am on the latest 1.5.1.
When viewing schedules on the Schedule page/tab, there is no description under each item, just the text "descripion". If I tap on one of the items on the list, the app quits.
The timers view is ok.
Is this a known bug?

Re: iOS bug in schedule list
I can confirm I am also seeing similar on 1.5,1 (but without iOS client exiting/crashing)
I wonder if this is by design (albeit not very elegant) ?
Select Schedule
Sort by
Schedule and by name
Where there is a downwards arrow (ie actual future recordings scheduled) it is possible to click on arrow to expand to see time of future recording. Upon selecting an actual forthcoming scheduled recording additional textual program description is seen
Where there is no forthcoming recording scheduled there is no arrow displayed, but description word remains.

iPad Air 2 (MGKL2B/A) iOS 12.1 (16B92)
iPhone 6 Plus (MGAH2B/A) iOS 12.1 (16B92)
Might I suggest that the OP raises a ticket directly with the vendor and updates this thread upon response.

Re: iOS bug in schedule list
I should also add that this is not a problem if you schedule individual recordings, only for series record. For individual recordings, the behaviour is the same as previous versions.
Re: iOS bug in schedule list
I wonder if it is linked to this viewtopic.php?f=14&t=856 which I have already reported ?
Re: iOS bug in schedule list
Probably. It is being fixed as we speak.
Re: iOS bug in schedule list
This is partially fixed in 1.5.2, in that when you tap on one of the entries in the list, the app now shows the program info correctly. But if you tap on the list header the app still quits. This means that you can't change any of the options for the series record. Also, the text "descripion" is still there.
Re: iOS bug in schedule list
Not reproducible, unfortunately. You, may write to tvmosaic at the dvblogic.com and we will go further with the additional tests.DaveH wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 1:29 pmThis is partially fixed in 1.5.2, in that when you tap on one of the entries in the list, the app now shows the program info correctly. Re: iOS bug in schedule list
I can easily reproduce this issue. All versions up to date. Fix is highly appreciated.DaveH wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 1:29 pmThis is partially fixed in 1.5.2, in that when you tap on one of the entries in the list, the app now shows the program info correctly. Re: iOS bug in schedule list
I changed my server to be running in a docker container (see viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1121) which resolved this issue. It is no longer reproducible.
But the dialog that appears seems somehow broken. See screenshot:
Start and stop show strange options and do not allow to select a number of minutes.
I don't know if this is related to the docker version or a general problem? Can anyone confirm that behaviour?
