Hi all,

I dont understand the architecture behind Mosaic but I was very surprised to find that there was no web access.

One of the features I used most was the ability to log into my VPN and set recording schedules on my iPad via a browser. This seems a huge step backwards.

Can we please have universal web access back?

Of have I missed something and it is actually there?

Thanks,

Geoff.

Is this really true? I also rely on the web interface - this would affect my decision to upgrade.

I was also surprised to see that there is no web access (yet). I am very curious if this will be added again in a coming version. I certainly hope so.

Does that mean that at least the web interface works only within its own network, but not outside? Or do you think that there is no web interface at all?

No Webinterface and no password protection. Looks like a piece of beta was published to generate a bit money.

Wasted mine, so much worse than dvblink at the moment.

Important features differ for different people. Not everyone used dvblink for out-of-house streaming. For them, TVMosaic is already a good step forward.

Well you even advertise tv mosaic with the "on the go" but you dont offer any protection at all. Also you do not mention (at least i did not find it so if its there, its not good to see), that the Webinterface is gone.

When will both of this features come Back?

All in all a very poor thing that you delivered here and there is no clear Communication. Mark it as beta or get clear what is missing.

Although it reminds / builds on DVBLink, TVMosaic is a different product. Which means that some of the DVBLink features will come back soon, some - later and some may never make its way into TVMosaic. Instead there will be new other things added tat are considered important.

technically, you can watch TV on the go with TVMosaic the same way you did with DVBLink - using TVMosaic player or its Android/iOS client. Password protection as in DVBLink is not reliable at all, especially taking into account that password was sent as clear text. That's why it was decided to remove it completely and make something proper. It will be done, but no ETA exists at the moment.
