Build 16828/16829 introduces support for IPTV providers, based on xtrеam codes IPTV panel (https://xtream-codes.com).

This support enables accurate separation of live TV channels and VOD content, automatic EPG collection and rich VOD metadata.

How to set up:
- Normal way: when scanning IPTV source channels, select Xtream Codes IPTV server and specify base url (http(s)://domain:port), user name and password.
- Easy way: when scanning IPTV source channels, select Remote paylist and add a playlist url as given to you by your IPTV provider. TVMosaic will detect automatically if your provider is based on Xtream Codes IPTV panel and will use it accordingly.

Is it possible to get the list sorted by the iptv provider? After adding a xtreme codes iptv service tvmosaic does not use the sorting my provider did. Its sorted by alphabet and auto channel number won't fix this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Xtream Codes have been stopped by authorities. TVmosaic should update its app to not check against this service. Up untill they do many M3U links will not work, in fact they will crash the TVMosaic Server.

Basically TVmosaic has become a useless piece of software untill they update this automatic check.

I opened my ticket and was basically told there were no plans and to find another service. So I guess if you are on area-51 you will not have a fix. They will no longer provide M3U links which are what's needed with TV mosaic.

The issue is already in ToDo list, but, unfortunately there is no any ETA when it will be done.

Workaround could be.
If your Link to m3u list works at any other IPTV Players, say at VLC player directly, then you may go with this way:
- download the m3u playlist file from browser (just open your IPTV link at browser)
- use this downloaded m3u at the TVMosaic IPTV tuner setup as a local playlist
(At the IPTV Tuner settings indicate the path to the m3u file, or put it at the /TVMosaic/scanners/iptv/ folder and select your particular playlist from the list during the IPTV Tuner configuration process)

You may find where TVMosaic stores user data files, at this wiki:
