dvblogic/tvmosaic:1.0.0.17569 is available.

Changes:
- Added automatic TVMosaic server restart on crash.
Hi Oberon,

can you make a "latest" Version. Thats easy for me to Update. I think also for others.

I've setup a new docker host with Intel UHD 630 gfx and want to try the hardware transcoding inside the container.

But when I tries to active a trail I tells me that it has expired.

What to do?

Write to info at dvblogic.com and include the id f your trial license (string in format 0x...). They will reset your trial license.

We will create the "latest" version after release.

Not sure, yet, what to do about the user. It is sort of specific to your setup.
Yes, I just hacked together something for the user support for my system.

I couldn't find any good information about how to do it properly.

Thanks!
Hi all!

I tested the new official docker on unRAID and in general it is also working there, but I got to the same problem that cchalk reported. As all the files are created with user "root", they cannot be modified/deleted via a SMB share that is provided by unRAID (e.g. I cannot copy the channel logos there). In containers written especially for unRAID, there is also the option to set the UID/GID by environment variables, I created a custom docker in the past for that where I just hardcoded the UID/GID necessary for unRAID (see https://github.com/afalter/Docker-TV-MOSAIC).

So an option to set the UID/GID from outside would also be great for unRAID users ;-) I'm looking really forward to replace my custom docker with the official one! :D

not sure if i understand what you are saying correctly
but if i am

you can set it
see my posted docker command
below is the portion that sets uid and gid
on synology admin is 1024 change it to the value of the account you need

-e PUID=1024 \
-e PGID=1024 \

Hi,

yes, this would be exactly what I need, on unRAID it should be set to 99:100.

Unfortunately this does not work. As far as I understood, the setting of PUID and PGID only works of the container itself supports it?! But then it would be strange that it works for you. Maybe the dev could clarify if setting these variables should change the ownership?

the variables should be supported and working
my containers are running with the correct uid/gid

also post 5 by cchalk
slightly different format but working there as well

the switch command/variable needs to be supported by your docker implementation

Wow, it's indeed flawlessly running on my Synology NAS!

I had to figure out how to setup that Macvlan thing but successfully followed these instructions:
http://tonylawrence.com/posts/unix/syno ... ogy-ports/

It describes how to create a docker compose file for pi hole (which I wanted to operate in my home network since years!) using a macvlan. This worked out instantly.

I then enhanced then yaml file by adding the tvmosaic setup using the same network that pihole is using. I attached the yaml file for your reference.

Thanks @DVBLogic for making TVMosaic available as Docker file!

I hope, that it will pass the long term test as well ;)

P.S. I had to reset the license as well which now is indeed possible in the web license portal which is highly appreciated and worked instantly!!
