Re: Still hardware-fingerprint? Windows (Creators) Update
Just set your server to manual restarting when Windows updates needs a reboot for updating the system. Than you are aware what to check in case of a major update, when you have restarted the server yourself. This way you don't miss any recordings, because the updates are only applied after rebootin...

Re: TVMosaic build 16141/16143
Can we not have these type of release notes in reverse chronological order so the latest ones are at the start? It just makes things easier further down the line... No, its good the way Oberon does it. When a new post is added with a new version it has the current date etc. In order to have reverse...

(Closed) schedule priority
I mentioned this a while ago for dvblink in the old forum, but it already was a dead horse then. As there is a nice fresh product I try it again :) What do you think of a schedule priority flag? I have for example a shedule for a magazine which runs every day and is always recorded but I only watch ...

Re: Remove/disable local instance of TV-mosaic?
IMHO it would be best to be able to install just the tvmosaic client.
As there is no web UI I need it on every machine and I always have to disable the service now.
And I guess thats the normal use case: 1 server, multiple clients...

Re: Still hardware-fingerprint? Windows (Creators) Update
Ok, thanks for the Info! So "relaxed" means that only mayor hardware changes trigger a change and windows updates don't do anything even when they are mayor? When I change the mainboard etc. I know that it will affect the fingerprint (as this is its purpose ;) ) but these things I can do within busi...

Still hardware-fingerprint? Windows (Creators) Update
In this https://forum.tv-mosaic.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=206 thread someone mentioned problems with the hw-fingerprint and the windows redstone/spring update which is going to happen in the comming weeks. Does tvmosaic still use a hardware fingerprint? And if yes what happens if that changes? With d...

Re: Windows Media Center support
When you use Kodi in the current version with the new estuary skin it can be made as simple aus MCE.
As there is no support from MS for MCE for a long time now and I guess it gets harder and harder to keep it running with each MS-Update it might be the time to switch...

Re: Recorded file container
Just use VLC in the Mac Version?
TS is actually not that bad as it allowes to be read while its still written without problems. A pretty common use case: Watch a recording that is still beeing recorded.
