TVMosaic works fine with FreeSat (Astra) however there is an error in the Astra 28.2 file and it is not up to date so you will miss these specific channels (I know as I wanted to watch cricket world cup final). Note that TVMosaic is a split architecture and uses a server and a client. The TVMosaic server talks to SATIP server (as a client), and you have a TVMosaic client to connect to TVMosiac server to watch TV. EPG is not a simple issue. If in UK then TVMosaic does not work off-air as FreeSat uses a different mechanism to send EPG information. There is an xmltv provider (xmltv.co.uk) that can be used, but I have found this service is not so reliable any more (missing channels, bad information). The best so...

FreeSat uses a "non standard" method to broadcast its EPG that is not implemented TV Mosaic, so that EPG cannot be taken off air. In addition to schedule recording a programme it would be nice to have a feature to schedule to watch a programme. This could work as schedule recording to switch channels, but does not record.
