Re: tv-mosaic server very sensitiv if hdd io is busy (qnap)

Hello,

i actually maintain 2 Qnap systems both running tv-mosaic servers (2 different houses)
It happened on both systems when the raid was beeing rebuild.
As tv source, I am using Degital Devices octapus Net, not sure if this uses udp or not.

Re: import recordings to plex

Hello,

I was wrong, i just got confused because i changed the transcoding to intel and this does fail on my qnap.

Do you have a profile sample for nvidia enabled transcoding? using software only seems to be slow and my qnap has an amd cpu.

import recordings to plex

Hello,

I would like to be able to use sent->to actually convert the recording into a format what plex is able to read and to copy it to my movies folder for plex.
How can I do this?
The current mp4 format is not readable by plex.

Re: did devices directory on raspberry move ?

Ahh coool, that was the trick.

I removed an existing tuner and readded it, in this case the devices folder with the new tuner also got created on the raspi.

Re: did devices directory on raspberry move ?

Hello,

there must be a bug with the latest version.
I removed the tvmosaic software from my raspberry to start from scratch and now i get a kind of error when i press on find channels using the DD octopus Net S2/8.

Re: did devices directory on raspberry move ?

Hello,
here is what i get

Code: Select all

pi@tvmosaic-server:/opt/TVMosaic $ ls
channel_logo common language licenses RecordedTV recorder_database scanners send_to temp tvmosaic_server.log xmltv
pi@tvmosaic-server:/opt/TVMosaic $
I do have all my channels, can watch tv and record.
Very odd :-(
